SPL and SSM announce strategic co-operation to pursue Billing and Customer Care opportunities in the region
The SPL Customer Care & Billing Solution (SPL CC&B) will provide organisations with a richer, more advanced customer care and billing function to provide its consumers and businesses with a world-class utility service.
The focus for this joint initiative is to migrate organisation’s existing customer care and billing system into SPL CC&B. Typically today, various departments of an organisation use different IT systems to manage the life cycle of the consumer with the utility. This creates a number of fundamental internal operational inefficiencies. Moving all the existing billing, customer care, payment and debt management functions onto one platform will connect all departments, expand customer care, rationalise the billing process, improve productivity and reduce the total cost of ownership.

Λαμβάνοντας υπ’ όψη τις αυξανόμενες ανάγκες μηχανογράφησης των Δήμων, λόγω της ένταξη μας στην Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση, θα θέλαμε και θεωρούμε υποχρέωση μας, να σας ενημερώσουμε για τα νέα προϊόντα που έχουν αναπτυχθεί από την εταιρεία μας και έχουν άμεση σχέση με τις εργασίες των Δήμων.
Θα θέλαμε επίσης να αναφέρουμε ότι η εταιρεία επενδύει συνέχεια στο σύστημα μας με στόχο να βρίσκεται πάντα στην πρωτοπορία, γι’ αυτό και έχει ήδη αρχίσει ο προγραμματισμός νέας έκδοσης για το πρώτο εξάμηνο του 2005 που θα συμπεριλαμβάνει.
Θα θέλαμε να σας ενημερώσουμε ότι μέσα στα πλαίσια της συνεχούς αναβάθμισης των υπηρεσιών που παρέχουμε στους Δήμους, έχουμε ήδη πρωτοποριακά, βάλει σε εφαρμογή την εξόφληση των λογαριασμών του Δήμου Λευκωσίας στο διαδίκτυο. Ο Δήμος Λευκωσίας είναι ο πρώτος Δήμος που οι λογαριασμοί του εξοφλούνται μέσω των ιστοσελίδων των Τραπεζών και οι εισπράξεις του αποστέλλονται σε ηλεκτρονική μορφή, μηδενίζοντας έτσι τον χρόνο που χρειάζεται για να ενημερωθεί το σύστημα του Δήμου για τις εισπράξεις των Τραπεζών.
Έχει ήδη αρχίσει, από την 1η Δεκεμβρίου 2004 η εξόφληση από την ιστοσελίδα της Τράπεζας Κύπρου και την ερχόμενη βδομάδα ακολουθούν οι υπόλοιπες Τράπεζες.
